Efficient harvesting of corn and grass

Large scale harvesting of corn and grass is quite complex. CNH industrial is one of the market leaders that produces industrial machinery to perform this task. CNH conducts field experiments every year to assess how their machinery can be tweaked and optimized to increase harvest quality and speed. In my collaboration with the company, I advise on data collection protocols using Design of Experiments and on data analysis problems to maximize insights from the data that is collected during field experiments. My past work has involved investigating new strategies for collecting data as well as using statistical process control (SPC) and time series analysis techniques for early detection of blockages in machines.
